PICK ME UP

Tomorrow sees the opening of the second Pick Me Up at Somerset House. Been grafting hard all week with the rest of the Concrete Hermit lot to put together a ruddy good show. Have a peek at the new & improved websites for all the different things Concrete Hermit has to offer; Nibwax for art books and small press zines, Hermit Editions for prints and The Hermit Store for clothing (see the new T-shirt range I helped design!) and artist designed products. I also have print up on display (see above) A four colour silk-screen print, edition of 50, available exclusively at Pick Me Up. I'll be in very good company on those walls, with some smashing prints from Nigel Peake, Jiro Bevis and French to name but a few. Come down and have a look. I shall just be concentrating on maintaining my composure at the PV tomorrow evening.

ZINESWAP 2nd BIRTHDAY

All this weekend Concrete Hermit will play host to ZINESWAP, for their second birthday celebrations. Expect a full-blown birthday party on Friday night (6pm-9pm at CH's Kingly Court store) complete with cake, mulled wine and a exhibition of the best 'zines from their extensive archive. There will also be an ALL NEW PUBLICATION to get your inky fingers on, printed by MANYMONO and including a discount voucher for Concrete Hermit, it will feature some of Zineswap's favourite spreads from the last two years. The exhibition/zine library and swapbox will continue through the weekend. So come down, say hello, read + swap + buy some sweet self-published stuff....
